A bit undecided about this one – but in the end I like the setting – or composition of the image.
The very straight and centred entrance into the scene – and the very formal rectangular elements due to the specific architecture of the location – and in between this chaotic, spontaneous moving spot – the jumper.
There is a nice element of visual expectation – the moment when he is hitting the surface of the water – looking at this you almost can hear the sound of splashing water – the typical smell is very present.
While I have no idea from where you took the idea of the lightening, exposure of the photo – to me it looks like an unusual, but also very effective one – which did get very clear when I was trying to see this scene in a regular colour – full exposed photo – it would have lost all it’s dramatic and would need to get it’s power simply from the move of the jumper – while this has much more impact, isolating one moment, and presenting this one like in a theatre.
It’s quite impressive what you were able to get out of this.
